Precious Cargo added for $9.99. I think this one is retail, but I'm not positive. Extras are listed on the back cover.

10 Cloverfield Lane and London Has Fallen both dropped to $8.49. Both of those are retail.

Dirty Grandpa (rental) and The Witch (retail) both dropped to $6.99.

If anyone is interested in this one. Best Buy will have it on sale for $9.99 this week.
Biggest Jennifer Lawrence fan! I've written a comedy Life As Liz with Jen in mind as the lead. PM If your interested. I've written 15 feature length scripts.

Passengers arrives who the hell knows anymore.

"I can't accept that I'm crazy" - Jen from an appearance on David Letterman. I feel the same too

Question for those who buy frequently at FV:

Do you have any trouble with their discs playing? By their own admission, they machine refurbish discs (I previously asked and they said that they do). I bought from them only once and the disc froze up in one area. Is this common or was my one purchase an anomaly?

Any advice would be appreciated. Since Hastings is gone, I need a new go-to place to buy.

I have bought many movies from FV and never had a problem with a disc playing.

Well, tried to give them a shot after one bad experience over a year ago - placed The Force Awakens in the cart for $6.99. It shows as $6.99 in the cart, but the sub-total says $11.99. Nothing else in the cart. Does anyone know about this glitch?

Yeah, that's really weird. I just tried the same thing just now in an attempt to figure it out, same result. But when I put in a different $6.99 used blu-ray, it calculates the sub-total properly (just for that blu-ray only, not Star Wars). I'd probably shoot them an e-mail to have them check into it.

Yep. Did that. It will be interesting to see if they reply. Just curious if people actually paid the higher price without paying attention (if buying multiples, it would be somewhat easy to overlook).

I think I've only had one disc not play, but can't recall if I bought it from them. (Used to buy from Blockbuster and Hollywood Video - RIP.) Blu-rays are by their very design pretty much scratchproof due to a protective layer on all discs. Whenever I've had a BD freeze/skip it has been because of an smudge on the disc and wiping it off fixes it.

They have a 30-day guarantee which doesn't do me much good because I always buy stuff and toss it in the library as it's almost always something I saw in the theater and just wanted a copy.

A few price drops...

My Big Fat Number 2 dropped to $8.49.

The Finest Hours, How to Be Single, and Zoolander 2 all dropped to $6.99.

How to Be Single is a rental and the rest are all retail.

update: Allegiant added for $9.99. It's a rental.

I did my first family video purchase w the free shipping code just now:

Deadpool BD for $6.99

I do hope its the retail version, I did check the thread and that is what I understood it would be.

Now that GH is gone I need a place to find cheaper BDs and this might be a good source for some of them.

Did you ever receive this? If so how long did it take to ship? I placed an order for Doctor Butcher with them on 7/24 and received the 30 day backorder e-mail on 7/25. I really didn't think much of it at the time since the title wasn't set to street until 07/26, but after hearing your story and a few others like it I'm wondering if I'll even be receiving my order or if 30 days will go by and then it will get cancelled anyways. At the time I saved $5 off the price anywhere else, but now Amazon has dropped the price and now I'm a bit annoyed that I still haven't received a shipping notice.

It's just a system error. If you proceed further, the price readjusts itself before you put in your credit card at checkout.

Yes, I heard back from them, and they said the same thing. I did order it, and they system did readjust to the correct amount.

I ended up cancelling and ordering from Deep Discount.

Big thank you to the guy that posted the free shipping code and the fact that the Hammer Horror and Frankenstein sets were available for pre order. Ordered!

There's a lot of titles for $4.99 that weren't available dor a long time. I ordered Godzilla 3D and The Imitation Game. I'm sure those weren't available recently as used items. There's a bunch of them.

I don't order from FV very often, so I don't remember the rules, but I see a few $4.99 titles on the list I might get.

Can you re-use this same free shipping code on different orders on the same account (like you could with Gohastings codes on different orders)?

Why do I want to do that? 2 reasons. First I want to grab a couple I know I want before they're gone, then tomorrow I'll look more carefully. Second, I found in the past the more titles you order the more likely FV is to mess up the shipping. They've never messed up a 1 or 2 disc order for me, but on orders with 5-10 discs, they usually messed up the shipping causing me to owe $3-$9 postage due for their so-called "free" shipping and I had to make special trips to the post office.

So I'd feel more comfortable placing smaller orders if the code can be reused.

Has anyone bought/rented Knock Knock and can confirm whether it's an extras-free rental version? I was looking at it in the store and the BD case art listed extras and neither that nor the DVD cases said rental.

Just a heads up (in case it hasn't been mentioned previously) that 13 Hours is like most Michael Bay movies with the extras on a 2nd BD. I am fortunate in that my closest location is the ONLY one of the half-dozen or so I pass by that keeps their extras discs with those movies. All other stores chuck 'em. So lame.
