Just got this after my PS3 (my first and only BR Player) died. Needed a cheap one until I started upgrading everything.

It's not bad at all. I'm actually shocked by how fast it loads. I say its the same if not a little faster than my old PS3. The sound is also really good.

It's $99 but on sale right now for $67.

MAJOR issue with this player, which we bought for my oldest son, the Wi-Fi doesn't support WPA2 so since it doesn't have Ethernet, Internet connection can be a problem.

Might as well mention that mine stopped reading all disks today. I haven't had it more than six months and didn't even use it too heavily.
Get what you pay for I suppose.

I bought a samsung BD-P3600 a while back (about 4 years ago) I didn't really play any disks in it, I used it mostly for online streaming. I used the disk tray maybe, maybe 10 time in total for watching actual Blu-ray's, then I tried watching a Blu-ray disk again about a year ago (so I had the player for about 3 years by then) and none of my disks would load, not even regular DVDs.

I'm not impressed with Samsung players at all. They make good TV sets but their Blu-ray players suck quality wise.

And yet my BD-P1500 keeps keeps on going, and going! I have over 400 BD's and have watched most of them on the 1500, so sometimes you get a lemon and sometimes you get a really good player.
