Not to mention vent shafts are aluminum, and very thin. They'd barely hold up the characters from Toy Story, a full size human would break right through as soon as they crawled into it.

I believe people have, but it warrants repeating. This takes me out of a movie instantly.

I understand when you want to have a fifty foot UFO crash into the statue of liberty, using CGI might be the way to go. but CGI always makes me think, "what, you couldn't afford red water?"

I dunno, man, Caro Syrup is expensive these days.
Fine, I've got a toast. To the Captain, he's the best... at being a big jerk who's stupid and his big ugly face is as dumb as a butt!

Guns

Too many movies have them. They're almost like a crutch, if you cant generate excitement throw a gun into the scene or film a shootout. Most people dont have guns or know how to shoot them. So it separates the audience from the pictures on screen even further.

I was thinking about that when I saw Run All Night. Works with some movies, but unessecary most of the time.

I hate when the movie is building toward what should be an awesome ending and then it ends with a thud and the audience is left sitting with a WHAT WAS THAT! look on their face.
The Ghostbusters earned their Stripes and to relax decided to go play golf, but got locked in the Caddyshack by the Gopher with The Blues Brothers who are hiding from a Dragnet but luckily they all escaped to The Great Outdoors, where they met a ranger who turned out to be The Man Who Knew Too Little because everything he said was Lost In Translation.
