It doesn't look like Paramount are gonna redo the 1080p BD any time soon, best we can hope for is a 4K Blu of the new transfer. It was scanned in 6K and finished up at 2K for the 3D version, I just hope they had the foresight to do the 2D version in 4K or least archive the scan itself.

As the grain was left in, and Tony loved his grain I really hope the 6k scans were kept and the timing info also.
