I'm not a fan of the version Funimation is releasing. There is no reason why this arc needs to be 69 episodes to begin with, but the fact that the Kai version only cut out like 20 episodes is ridiculous. They could have easily cut the content down to 50 episodes and even that would have been pushing it.

291 Episodes is a tall order with a full time job.
I lost being allowed to complain about episode count when I got into One Piece.

How long should we expect them to release the Complete Season (Season 5)?

i don't really see them doing a season 5 set. The episode counts for these part sets are on par with their normal season set releases. It would be very surprising if they did do one

Wonder if the BDs will have the original TFS audio for the Cell Games reenactment or will Toei make Funi replace it there too with the original DBZ dub lines (as seen on the AS broadcast)?

It appears the scene was cut before it was broadcast on TV, so I don't think it will be on the Blu-Ray release.

Not like the scene was cut completely, but most of the lines by the TFS crew replaced with the ones from the original Funi dub for that AS broadcast (the "Mr. Satan Merchandise" blurb by Krillin's TFS VA is the only thing that remains for whatever reason).

And hopefully shortly after that, FUNi will package the three together.
The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.
Films I'd like to see on Blu-Ray Disc:
Scarface (1932)
ABC Weekend Specials (1977Ė1995) [TV Movies]

I donít believe anyone that refuses to post a source, they just like spreading FUD.
If you're not part of the solution, youíre part of the precipitate.

I've come to the sad realization that Dragon Ball Z on home media is ****ed. Not only that, but the series was never very good to begin with. I'm finished with trying to own the complete and will instead wait for a quality blu-ray release for Dragon Ball.
Adding compartments for a six pack and a gun to purses won't make men want to buy them and then the women won't want them any more either. Enough with soy-based entertainment.

Stop pledging loyalty to brand names and start rejecting anything that fails to treat your heroes and your intelligence with respect. Stop allowing corporations to re-write your memories, otherwise the past is prologue and what we'll get is more of the same.

Best you're going to get is DBZ Kai. Original always finds a way of having something wrong about it since the Level Sets stopped after just a couple of volumes.

One Piece? What about Naruto? Just when you think it will end, it keeps going like an Energizer bunny.

The Faulconer music is terrible anyway. Most of the time it doesn't match the show because it doesn't match the emotions happening.

Sure, I agree, but even those who don't like it, have to admit there are scenes where the music is fantastic.

I agree there is some good music there, but I would rather listen to it on its own instead of in the show itself.
