For some reason, I thought it was on Netflix. Strange that a masterwork like Fantasia is on Netflix but Sword in the Stone isn't.

I would love to have this on BD, but the DNR disaster is unacceptable.
They'd better remaster this. Disney sucks sometimes.

Never understood why Disney thought it was Okay to not do anything about this release. They know it was terrible presentation.

Still boycotting this atrocious release despite this film being one of my favorites as a young child. I'll wait for a release that shows more respect for the film.

Do you mean you may have seen an original Technicolor print from 1939? That is doubtful unless you saw it in 1939 as new prints were struck for subsequent re-issues. If you saw it in re-issue after the 40's it would have looked different since the releases on safety film stock in the 60's and beyond did not use the key image. The colors probably appeared a bit brighter.

I was watching Season 5 Episode 1 of Once Upon A Time last night. For those of you who have seen it you know why I am mentioning it. It made me want this movie but the reviews are horrible for the PQ.
