Sim City Beta

Well I played quite a bit over the weekend (finally) and I had quite a lot of fun with it. There were still a few issues and some features weren't working properly so you didn't know if you were using the wrong strategy or if you were doing it correctly but that game feature was just broken.

The size is still an issue but you just have to constantly destroy what you had before and improve it and then once it's completely full and done perfect, you move onto the next city.

Watched a few videos of SimCity 5 last week and looks great, then later read about the DRM issues and decided to pass on it - I haven't played SimCity since it's original release eons ago. Decided to find a copy of SimCity 4, I realize the game is 10 years old now but I had a blast playing it this past weekend. I still need to figure out what I'm doing as I bankrupted 3 cities and lost a couple to computer crashing (need to remember to save ofter) but the game is a hoot and very addictive...

For those who are still interested in this game, know that the DRM issues have all seemed to have be fixed.

For the original purchasers, EA has announced a free game program due to the starting issues of SimCity.

Your choice of game is from the following list...

I might get MOHW just for the BF4 beta.

I got that email. When I logged into Origin this morning I was able to select my free game....so I chose Dead Space 3

The servers are better but the game is nowhere out of the wood works. Most of all the region playing is BROKEN and buggy as hell. There are still issues with your map / region being corrupted and not being able to login to your city. (Happened twice for me and once for my friend.)

If you want to jump on that offer then go ahead, but expect frustration if you plan to play with friends or use multiple cities in region.

So I could buy SimCity now and still get another free game hmmmm
