Default 3D Calibration

I was calibrating my television last night after setting the HDMI Black Level to Low due to washed out blacks in Normal and I realized that in order not to crush too much detail, I had to set my brightness to 80! I'm not sure I feel comfortable leaving the brightness that high, but for better blacks and the occasional 3D movie, it may be safe. It's a 30 point jump from the 2D brightness settings, which I was expecting it to be higher due to the glasses, but not that much.

Is anyone else in the same situation where their 3D settings require a pretty drastic brightness increase or should I just go back to the "Normal" HDMI Level?

Thanks, that's what I use. What I realized the problem was is the HDMI black level being set to low caused my blacks to drop below what they should be.
