Definitely. If you're a Bill Murray fan, it's one of his best roles (after Ghostbusters and Rushmore).

That's still way too much for an old catalog title. It should be well under $10 by now.

Been waiting for a price drop for a year now. I refuse to pay more than $12.99 for this.

Yeah same here, I bought the slipcover off somebody here awhile ago and have just been waiting to find it for $10 or less new or used and have had no luck.

It's actually $14.99, same with Planes, Trains, and Automobiles both with lentis. Been waiting for a price-drop as well, but losing my patience as Christmas draws near.

If I lose it, I might throw an SK/RZ cert of a GC at it.
And if we could float away

I caved in at the $14.99 price point at Best Buy a week or so ago, but only because there was a brand new slipcover on one of the copies.

I'v seen a few clips but I have never seen the whole film in its entirety so this was a blind buy for me at Best Buy yesterday "marked down" from $24.99 to $14.99.

All other Christmas Blu Rays had been marked down to $9.99 like "A Christmas Story", "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation", "Jingle All the Way", It's a Wonderful Life", and many more. Yet Scrooged was still marked down as $15.89 (after tax)

Unlike the glowing Review this site gave the film I started seeing film Dust and Specks from the very beging . The review on this site says the copy is "clean" but it's not.
No Blu Ray Disc artwork
No Bonus Features other than one trailer which is kinda sad since the 2006 Yule Love It! Edition DVD that was recalled for unknown reasons was going to contain the following special features:

* Widescreen Version Enhanced for 16:9 TVs
* Audio options: Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, English 2.0 Surround; French 2.0 Surround
* English Subtitles and closed-captioning for the hearing impaired
* Commentary by Director Richard Donner
* Christmas to Remember
* Updating Ebenezer
* Bringing the Ghosts to Life
* The Look of Scrooged
* On the Set with Bill Murray - Part 1 and Part 2
* ShoWest Message from Bill Murray
* Theatrical Trailer

I thought to myself how could I go wrong with this blind buy.
We have the lovable Bill Murry, great Tim Burten type music, Great special effects (for 1988 standards) and the VHS/ DVD cover box has been a Christmas time Classic at ever Rental store since the 80s.

Sadly it just was not my cup of tea for $15.89.
I found the story to be a little dark/macab and over the top. The end didn't really pay off the way most Christmas Carol films do. I love Bill but I think they set out to make an edgy Christmas movie for adults but the script, editing, and timing of the film just fell apart all over the place.

well played, Amazon.com... Wait until it's too late to enjoy it before X-mas to drop it below $10. I ordered it anyway.

My understanding (possibly covered elsewhere in this thread) was that Murray did not enjoy working with Donner and was unhappy about changes made to the script. As such, he refused to sign off on the bonus features for the DVD release and none of them have seen the light of day.
