If the picture is somehow noticeably better, then maybe I can understand a new release, but if it looks the same as the last disc, just without the extras then it's not wise to buy this.

Considering the original BD transfer is pretty much a dead ringer for the 4K projection I saw on the big screen, I don't expect the new BD will (or can) look much better.

I was considering getting this new 4K version in hopes of Sony fixing the menu defects but now that I'm reading there will be no special features, I guess I'll stick to my copy that doesn't let me pick a scene.
