I usually prefer Director's cuts and extended cuts as long as they weren't made many years after the initial release and aren't "updated" with new graphics. I especially like the Unrated versions, how the movies were meant to be before the MPAA got to them. But as far as theatrical cuts I would like to have, Warriors and THX1138.

Because scanned and "custom" art sucks even more.

I would like the Lethal weapon 1-3 "directors cuts" made available too.
I know the theatrical versions are considered the better versions but I also like the extended versions which were brought on on DVD too. Both should have been brought out on the last set via seemless branching.

I agree, that would have been a good space saver
I do like the DC of Part 1.

Not a chance...in fact printed with the proper paper they look 10 times better than studio art. Have you ever printed any artwork to come to your conclusion? So it sucks like this? Never let Digi books, Criterion or any other awful packaging (IMHO) deter you from having a uniform shelf if you so want one.

However I do love Criterion clear cases (just wish all their releases would be in those)

or

15mm six disc cases for Indiana Jones, The Star Wars Films, LOtR Extended Editions and a few other customs I pulled off my shelf at random.

Criterion cases

BD Wantlist: 1. Le Samouraļ 2. Ikiru 3. Nights of Cabiria 4. La Strada 5. The Burbs 6. Murder By Death 7. Hooper 8. The Abyss 9. True Lies 10. The Little Princess 11. Love Affair (1994) 12. Into the Night 13. The Remains of the Day 14. The Gumball Rally 15. The Magnificent Ambersons 16. Urban Cowboy 17. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance 18. Blame it on Rio 19. Under the Rainbow 20.
