I doubt one little import will now matter.

We all live in a global community as can be seen on forums such as this.

I have gone the other way and import from the US with no qualms as I just want to own the films I like on bluray.

The only way at present to own all released Disney classics is with a mixture of US and UK discs.

If you love the film then why wait.

Can anyone confirm the Diamond Edition release in October 2015? Disney wikia has had that info up for a while now. I know its not a reliable source and i haven't been able to find it anywhere else online, but I hope there is some truth to it. I have been waiting forever for it and even more so that there could be a 3D release. I have been holding off on buying the UK version because it it. Thanks

No official confirmation yet. But it's incredibly likely it will be next fall.. And it's pretty much a guarantee that there will be no 3D.

I just did this, seemed like a great price for Aladdin and 101 Dalmatians together. Threw in Team America with the same order for more not released in US fun.

I'm hoping when this does finally come out they have the sequels also. I bought the zavvi steelbook when that came out but I still want return of jafar and king of thieves and I could get the first one again also if it's a significant upgrade over the UK release.

+1. After 101, only two Vault titles will remain in the Diamond line: Aladdin & Pinocchio. Of those, Aladdin will go in fall 2015 because (a) Disney is consistent with spring vs. fall Vault titles and (b) Pinocchio hit BD as the last Platinum title in spring 2009, thus it gets spring 2016. Assuming they continue the Vault strategy, Snow White (as always) will begin the next line (Titanium? Ruby?) in fall 2016.

Edit: Also, with Aladdin being the last Vault title not yet on U.S. BD (after 101), releasing it in fall 2015 dovetails nicely with the last non-Vault DACs on BD. Conventional wisdom suggests we'll see 2-movie sets of Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros & Make Mine Music/Melody Time, plus a 30th-anniversary The Black Cauldron, in 2015; those plus 101, Aladdin & Big Hero 6 would have all 54 DACs (thru BH6) on U.S. BD by the end of 2015.
BD players: PS3 Slim 250GB; Sherwood BDP-5004 (region-free); HP P7-1010 (w/ LG WH12LS38K, AMD HD 6570, Hanns-G HL227, Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers, TMT 6, PDVD 11)
A/V hardware: Vizio E3D320VX 3DTV; Sony HT-SS380; Vizio Co-Star (Google TV); Radiient HDMI switch; Nook HD; Galaxy Tab 3 Lite; Moto G; iPhone 3GS

So, Sleeping Beauty didn't include some advertisement for next year's Diamond Edition titles? Don't they usually do that?
