Ah that sucks. I went to exchange it for another one and the same thing. Guess its not meant for me to have.

Got my copy today along with Silent Night. It's gonna be a scary X-Mas vacation this year.

It's a problem with some Blu-Rays released by Magnet films. I had the same problem with The Goon and The Hunter. What solved the problem for me was deleting everything under my BD Data Utility on my PS3.

Everything has been working correctly ever since including V/H/S.

Boy was this movie a huge disappointment. Some of the directors involved have made above-average horror movies, but this movie was as ugly as it was, well, ugly, pretty much the whole way through. Plus a train-wreck of a frame story.

wow it worked! brought up the menus and everything. That's crazy.... i wonder what that had to do with why a movie wont play? i remember Crank 2 you had to have a memory card on a standard blu ray player. Now with the ps3's we have to actually delete data now??

Was hoping for a super cheap price on this, but alas, I guess I'll rent it through Vudu or something. I think I've got some credit lying around somewhere.

About to give the Blu-ray a spin. It's best to watch a movie like this with a few beers.

I overall liked it. The first and last segment were great but there were a couple of stinkers as well.

I saw V/H/S at an indie theater here in Atlanta back in October.

This is one of those flicks that I really enjoyed during my first viewing, but have no real desire ever to watch again for repeated viewings. I am in admiration of all involved, though, for making a truly grisly horror flick that swings for the fences and does not take shortcuts. It was refreshing to see a horror film that is actually horrifying.
