Hi guys, I'm currently looking to buy a Home Theatre kit for my Bedroom, through browsing I have come to a decision on 2 speaker systems as the title says the Kef KHT3005 and the B&W MT-50's.
My questions are: Which would be best suited for myself? I only intend to watch Movies and TV (Blu-Ray). Do you need an AV Receiver, What would you recommend? Thanks. |

I haven't heard either set, but based on awards, appearances, and specs, I would recommend the KEFs. They have some fantastic reviews, numerous top pick awards, and the sub has a larger driver which in theory would provide you with some more impact.
As for a receiver, yes, you will need one. Onkyo's TX-NR616 should be fantastic.
