For 3 bucks apiece. I love them!! Just check for scratches before you buy them. Everyone is always cool about that and understanding.
Movies that need to go Blu. The Ref, Open Range, Life As A House, Great Outdoors, True Lies, Joe Dirt, Maximum Overdrive, Pool Hall Junkies, Brain Candy, Wildcats, Blue Juice, Magnificent Eleven, Fire In The Sky, Up In Smoke, Spies Like Us.

Die Hard Collection bluray set - $4
LOTR Extended bluray 15 disc set - $4

The deals are out there, obviously these are extreme cases but this is what I paid. No typo. I love building my collection at these prices.
Thats awesome! I always hit the pawn shops up about twice a month. I never see box sets though.

I almost only buy secondhand, it's way cheaper. Most of the new Blu-rays I buy are the ones that I buy on release date.
Top 25 | Aliens | Amadeus | Annie Hall | Casablanca | Chinatown | The Dark Knight | Days of Thunder | Die Hard | Drive | Fargo | The Fugitive | The Godfather, Part II | Goldfinger | Goodfellas | Lawrence of Arabia | The Lord of the Rings | Psycho | Pulp Fiction | Raiders of the Lost Ark | The Shining | The Silence of the Lambs | Star Wars | The Sting | Unforgiven | Zodiac |

Yup. These disc are more resilient then DVDs. If there are no scratches, they should work just fine.

Sometimes we hear of people who are “very” honest, “mostly” honest, or even “a little” honest.
Should we even use modifiers with the word honest? I don’t believe so. There are no degrees of honesty. Either we are honest or we aren't.

I had several BD's with light scratches, they all played perfect. Obviously we would all prefer Mint BD but I'm just saying if the price is right don't be afraid to take a chance.

Spies Like Us is on BD^^^^^

Almost all blu-rays that I buy are used. I do not care so much about cases as I buy for the movie itself.

Have a lot of second hands in my collection. Some from pawn shops, record store and Family Video previewed ones. So far haven't had a problem with any of them playing.

I just started buying blu ray's when I got my blu ray player in April 2014 and only bought one used blu ray and that was the 2008 Sleeping Beauty platinum edition for 5.99 at a store that has a limited selection of blu rays. It looked like new it had 2 blu ray discs but was missing the DVD. That was a great price and really happy to have found it. All of my other blu ray's are new but were all bought on sale (many 5.00 Best Buy blu ray's, etc.).

It depends. If it's a hard to find blu like Ponyo with a slipcover, then I don't care as long as it is in excellent condition. But if it's a common release and I'm only saving a few bucks, then I'll just buy it new.

Pretty much my thoughts. IF the discs are in good quality, I have no issues with the secondhand, if it is cheaper.

I used to buy movies when they first were released to get them on sale but I found that waiting a little and getting them used saved me 3/4 the cost.

At least 25% of my collection has been purchased as 'used'.
Happy to buy used if it's in Very Good Condition or better still Used Like New.

So far not had a problem with used BD's other than a broken case and a smelly BD but can't say the same for used CD's. Have had a few with issues.

You can save a lot of money that way
