Too bad I can't see this movie. Adrien Brody's huge ass nose takes me out of every movie he's in.

this made less in its first weekend per screen that Wreck-it-Ralph made in its 21st weekend.
It made $172,000 on 275 screens for a per theater average of $625

So there is some faith left in the general moviegoing populace after all.

That's still about 62 people per theatre. Still way too much.

I'm surprised that it got so much promotion when only showing on 275 screens.

I have to be honest, it did a lot better than I thought it was going to be and a lot more money than it had any right to.
Remaining Films of 2014 I'll check out: Mr. Turner. Interstellar. The Drop. The Imitation Game. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. Horrible Bosses 2. Men, Women and Children. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Dumb and Dumber To. Exodus: Gods and Kings. Big Eyes. Unbroken.
Best Films of the Year so far: Boyhood. Calvary. Frank. Godzilla. Nightcrawler. Gone Girl. The Rover. The Raid 2. The LEGO Movie. Under the Skin.

Well sadly netflix shipped this to me and I watched a little bit of it today.
Its one of the worst things I have seen. I did not expect it to be good but did not expect it to be this racist or juvenile.
Not one worthy joke or moment in the 20 mins or so I managed to skip around on. I watched the Adrian Brody scenes with him as "Flirty Harry". A gay Dirty Harry kind of cop that wears tight pink pants and talks about blowing guys ...(away, that is)... yeah thats about the zenith of this thing.

There is also beyond juvenile skits involving Rob Schneider as a porn reviewer. This concept could have been funny if done somewhat decent but I was cracking funnier (and dirtier) jokes than this in 4th grade.

Then there are two recurring skits that were very offensive and racist and not funny. Blackass ; a parody of Jackass and the Amazing Racist a parody of I guess the Amazing Race where this guy constantly makes fun of Asains for having little slanty eyes and other eye-rolling, head-shaking "comedy" moments.
I feel bad for the actors who were paid to be made buffoons and had to listen to the racism involved in this.
Why the F+++ did I even waste my time writing about this.

A year ago (June 2013), I saw Showgirls for the first time and it's changed my life.
