Watched the blu-ray for the first time and felt the same way. It was the most I've ever enjoyed watching this film, and I recently said the same thing about Reservoir Dogs.

I completely forgot how long this movie is. I didn't remember the particular order of scenes so I kept thinking "they haven't even done this scene yet." Even then, I didn't specifically recall how they played out. When Butch
[Show spoiler]goes back to his apartment, I started to remember that a guy came out of the bathroom. I forgot it would be Vega. Laughed my ass off when Butch went off after the tarts popped up haha.

This is one of the first Blu-Rays I bought and it's my favorite movie of all time, but I just watched the Blu-Ray for the first time yesterday. I'm very pleased with it, though I feel like something might be missing from the transfer. But overall, awesome Blu-Ray.

He probably means at the beginning of the movie. This bugs me too.

I watched this last night (true classic that holds up as well as ever).

As far as the transfer, I felt the blacks, shadows, contrast, and color were spot on. Very nice. However, there is a slight, yet noticeable amount of constant ringing which I don't believe is a camera artifact, but something in the mastering process. It's really noticeable during the outdoor scenes. However, it doesn't look as bad as I've seen on other discs. There also seems to be a bit of noise reduction done, but that too doesn't seem to be as offending. It seems subtle. Detail is still pretty good in many scenes. All in all, not a great transfer, but fairly solid. No complaints on the audio side.

I'm sure it will. It's been $3.99-4.99 several times over the last year.

This seems to be one of those titles that since it came out on blu-ray it's usually discounted preaty low around Christmas (I think I got it for 7.50 a couple of years ago), so it'll probably be cheap again this year I'd guess.

It's $7.99 at Best Buy now, with a tag on the normal racks that says the same thing. So if it really is that cheap all the time ($7.76 on amazon, so it sounds like it is in LG's bargain section for good now), it should be on sale for $5 or less around the holidays. But it's easily worth $8, easily worth $20+ for that matter!

Anyone have the French or Hong Kong releases? From the screencaps it looks significantly better than the U.S. release. Both seem to have EE but the French disc has a more natural and less contrast boosted appearance.

However looks like the French version has forced subtitles and the Hong Kong has a weird pitch issue with the audio

Hard to complain since Pulp Fiction does look good but I can't help but feel it could be better.

Target had it for $4 on Black Friday 2012 and Best Buy had it for $4 on Black Friday 2013. I say the chances are pretty good a retailer drops it to $4 again for this year's Black Friday.
