The movie kind of had nothing to do with that and I thought that the plot was a bit forced and such... I mean, I thought it was enjoyable, but it did nothing for me, really.

If only the show had been renewed for a fourth season and we had never gotten such a cliffhanger ending...
Season 3's ratings were higher than 90% of CW's shows now sadly.

It should have been renewed for a Season 4. Yet they kept stupid One Tree Hill. This would have been one of their only acclaimed continuing shows (since Gilmore Girls was ending). And yes, if it had those ratings now it would be one of their top rated shows. It probably wouldn't get those ratings if it were airing on there now but it would surely get enough by CW standards to keep going I'm sure.

If an SOS and being beloved by Dawn Ostroff wasn't enough, it just wasn't meant to be.
RIP Navster, you were someone I considered a friend and BD.com will always remember you.

If they make a new series or movie it better, and I'm almost positive it will, not ignore the events of the two books.

Rob Thomas mentioned in an interview that any follow on film / tv series would take the books into account. Hopefully that'll still be the case....

EDIT: interview here.

I really enjoyed the film, and more VM would be fantastic. I hope this happens.
