It's not owned by Universal. The movie was a Universal/Fox co-production with the latter handling most overseas territories.

how is 'producing' be classified as 'distribution'? I was under the impression that Universal (only) pretty much picked up the bill and provided the money for the movie to be filmed.

Scratch that guys. Moviefone Web site listed the wrong movie. When I got to the theater it was for some foreign movie. Sorry about that.
