Honestly, I generally find Tony's films to be better than Ridley's. I like the majority of Tony's, while Ridley's I find to be just okay for the most part.

I dont know how much weight you can give to Tarantino praise. He likes a lot of awful films too, and his own filmography is the very definition of hit-and-miss.
