Only to one buddy of mine who is just as particular as I am so we both know each other will take care of the discs. Otherwise... extremely rare for me to loan out. Once bitten - twice shy.
2799 titles on disc... of those, 17 are LaserDisc, 1120 are Blu-Ray, 94 are in 3D & 4 are BluRay Audio. My avatar shot was taken last October with a 200.00 Nikon set on timer with a simple lamp. Shows what a cheap camera can do.

I used to then stopped back in the VHS days when stuff would come back ripped and destroyed. They also thought that because I had a lot of movies, that I was their personal Blockbuster and they'd be calling and knocking at my door at all times of the night. Then I stopped. Recently though, I will loan some out to a buddy of mine from work which I know takes care of his stuff. He'll also be my Ginny pig to make sure my Blu's work. I have a backlog of stuff that needs watching and if he watches it, then I'm sure it works fine. Recently I loaned him Game of Thrones S4 as soon as I received it in the mail, since I won't have time for a while, so I know it works. Came back in the same condition I loaned it out in. I'll also lend my brother and my girlfriend some once in a while as well.

Blurays? Loaned out? Bwa ha ha ha ha ha.

I use dot loan out DVD's, but they came back either scratched, smudged or NOT AT ALL.

I tell my friends who request to borrow a bluray...."you're free to watch it here with me, but I don't loan them out anymore."

And as for tv shows on DVD......IF I trust them enough....they only get one disk at a time, sent home in a single clear case, when they finish it, return it for the next disk.

Yes, but would you loan to them, or perhaps, loan to them either?

I do not loan out my BDs. People do not respect other people's property.

Even when you're lucky enough to actually get s**t back, it's usually been disrespected in some way. It's been dropped, spilled on, carelessly handled, etc.

My VHS and DVDs (and some videogames) took enough abuse. I no longer loan out anything I even remotely care about.
I mostly come out at night...mostly.
