it's still bugging me that the press release says theatrical cut of the film when there's no extended cut to be found

Series 2 (David, Holloway, Deacon) should be available in November.

Also, NECA recently updated their twitter feed to indicate that there are no current plans for anything beyond Series 3 (Shaw, Vickers, Mutant Fifield), unless the figures sell really well. For what it's worth, I contacted NECA and put in a request for a plush Hammerpede and/or Trilobite while they have the Prometheus license.

If any of you would like a plush Cuddles, PLEASE feel free to bombard NECA with your requests.

I can not find it on their twitter.

Here's a critical review of the extended/deleted scenes:

http://www.sfx.co.uk/2012/09/29/prom...extras-review/

So, why all the secrecy? Why no review discs for journalists?

"Prometheus is out on DVD on 8 October, and the extras on it have been kept pretty top-secret: kept under wraps until yesterday, with no review discs for journalists, who were only allowed to see them by appointment in the offices of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment"

I have to disagree, while not what I expected, it was the best MADE film of the year, great cinematography, great effects, great soundtrack, great casting. What poor performances were you alluding to?

Seems the booklet with select art from the official art book is exclusive to their edition.

It was personally my favorite movie of the summer. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. Saw it in theaters twice (2D and 3D) and it was even better the second time with the 3D.

Yeah, I didn't see them say that either... although I didn't imagine them going much further than what's already planned, anyway..

i'm with you the cast was very great and i love Fassbender and Charlize Theron but i was expecting something more,i need to be more thrilled,it was boringvand The scientists don't behave like scientists, they don't talk like scientists and i hated the andriod david finally i have a MESSAGE Hey, Ridley THAT'S NOT HOW SCIENTISTS REACT TO DISCOVERING ALIENS....and i cried alot when
[Show spoiler]the alien comes out from his mother in the final scene
i'm so sad and that is my opinion and i respect everyone's opinion in loving this movie

Man so much topic on this as some is meaningless information. So my question is since people are buying from UK since some are impatient, which US Version is worth to purchase from?

Thanks

My suggestion to definitely go for 3D version as you'd get all the special features, plus cooler cover art and if you would like to get the Target one just to get the booklet, I also even definitely suggest you the get the book itself... if you're the fan of this movie, you won't be disappointed...

Are you sure you saw Prometheus? Maybe you saw Alien Resurrection and got confused.

And if you saw Prometheus and still claim poor performances, I just got one questions for you:

How dare you?!!!!
