For Canadian's who always wanted to get Seasons 7 and 8 on Blu-Ray at an affordable price, you can pre-order a re-release of the Seasons mentioned for $23.37 each (S7, S8). Release dated at April 29th 2014. I would have gladly purchased this now but unfortunately, it releases a week before Live Another Day premieres. Typical. We're in a middle of reminiscing 24 Season 6 and we would have gladly purchased the Blu-Ray for the next set of Seasons, especially since we're tired of refreshing Netflix just to get a consistent 1080p HD quality. It sure beats the DVD though.

I just watched the 8th season last week and idk why i stopped after 7 that was a great season i guess i got tired of the same thing happening but after a few years free of it wants me to watch Live another day. Hopefully with that coming out here soon might give the idea of fox releasing the rest on bluray idc if its a set or a separate releases although i do prefer the set. I do think Kiefer Sutherland did a good job on this show and directing it.

Season 8 is kinda boring in its first half, to tell you the truth. It feels rather ordinary, especially after the completely insane roller-coaster ride that was season 7!

Season 7 and 8 for me is at least more watchable than the horrendous Season 6. We're actually considering taking advantage of the "Season 6 in 4 minutes" featurette from the 24: Redemption DVD just to get it over with. That's how bad it is.

But yeah Fox made the right move to pull the plug for the show. Even Jon Cassar left the show in Season 8, which is already a sign of fatigue from the creative department. With 12 episodes, there'll be no more slow drag fillers. 24 episodes is really stretching it, especially for a show like 24.

I'm one of the few who mostly hated season 7 and loved season 8 (especially the second half).
Just a fly in the ointment. The monkey in the wrench. The pain in the ass.

To me it was supposed to be seem relaxed he just went through treatment he was retired and of course like always something ends up happening to him to bring him through it all again. I thought it was great all the way through. I was disappointed that Renee walker died, that would've been a good thing for him to end the series off but i understand they had to have him go rogue to do what was right.I liked that Freddie did Cole to i liked his character seemed like someone you could've relied on. But was to me a replacement for tony before he became a terrorist.
