Right.

Friedkin: And so Joe takes her back to that. So she says 12 and a lot of people strangely have asked me, "Is she supposed to be 12 years old?" No, and she isn't!

geez maybe from now on if we don't know something that's not mentioned in the film, we should hunt down director interviews until we find it.

No, just use some common sense. Maybe her age isn't mentioned but it's obviously suggested in the film that she isn't 12 and she's referring to her adolescent years.

You could, if it was needed. But it was pretty clear she wasn't underage. Not to mention the fact that Hollywood typically doesn't depict underage characters that sexually and with that much nudity anyway.

I am not going to read much in this thread do to fear of a spoiler but I have seen this movie around since U&S (that is when I first noticed it) and never gave it much thought do to the fact except for lincoln lawyer I am not a MM fan.

After looking into this a bit I almost want tto jump out of this chair and blind buy it RIGHT NOW!.

I read some of the reviews on RT and am a little peeved about a slight spoiler, something about KFC or a chicken leg? Oh well. Tomorrow I shall have.

EDIT: Math, Killer Joe 16.99 at BBY

Which made me think 17, but maybe I was misreading it. That's right around the age of lies though, and the shit I used to tell cops when they pulled up on me with a 40oz in the park when I was 17.

Apparently there are 2 different versions of this on Blu-ray. I just got this used from Hastings and received an R-rated version, not unrated?

EDIT: OK, so apparently there is a rental version of this with just the R-rated version and no special features, which is apparently what I got. This sucks!

I ordered this used and not previously viewed. There isn't even a rental sticker on the disc. It looks like I may be giving Hastings a call. This is unacceptable!

i was more affected by the chicken leg scene in this flick than the rape scene in Irreversable. Still gives me jitters.
