A few months ago I upgraded my receiver and popped in Kung Fu Panda 3D, first thing I noticed was that my Onkyo display read "DOLBY D" which confused me and made me think that Dreamworks only has Dolby Digital on their 3D catalog titles. I still watched it despite the lossy soundtrack because I only have 5.1 at the time. Now that I've finally set up a 7.1 system, It's something I want to take advantage of with Finding Nemo, Brave etc.

I ended up ordering a Panasonic BBT-01, the slimmer model which is similar in size to a Wii, due to a lack of shelf space and it's a great player. I'll be using that for BD Playback instead.

As for a previous poster who has the VT50 and isn't impressed with 3D. To each his own. I have the ST30 from 2011, which is 2 models below the VT and I love the 3D on my set, It adds depth that makes watching 3D like a completely different experience. Now there are certain movies that I can't imagine NOT watching in 3D.

You know, strange thing though, here in Singapore, Brave and Finding Nemo 3D BD come with DTS-HD and not Dolby TrueHD.
But it's very expensive. Heck, it's cheaper for me to ship from Amazon.
