Is it really as easy as just doing AVR outputs
DVDO Inputs & then DVDO Outputs Display inputs.I guess that's properly it right? Then what's up with the multitude of DVDO inputs?

I do not own either processor. However, I assume installing them should be as easy as connecting a receiver or pre/pro.

Still can't see the logic in having that many inputs if you already have an AVR though.

You would want the DVDO doing all the heavy lifting for video processing. I connected all my components directly to the DVDO then sent the Audio output from the DVDO to the AVR.
I had my PS3, Xbox, BD, HDDVD etc etc going to my DVDO then the audio to my AVR. One output to the projector the other to the TV.
