The only thing I liked about Vegas Vacation was this part.

I love the song.

Not sure why this movie gets such bad reviews. I find it enjoyable every time I watch it! I recently watched it on Amazon Instant Video, and it brought back so many childhood memories since I saw it back in 97. Lol.

well, I watched the 85 min, pretty well done, but a few minor quibbles, they bleeped out the curse words, and and NO interviews with Randy Quaid, as he was a major part of the movie.

I just noticed the cover of Vacation. It's just awful. Couldn't they have just jazzed up the original Boris Vallejo art?

Oh, God. Didn't we have this discussion last year?
Look, Dr. Lesh, we don't care about the disturbances, the pounding and the flashing, the screaming, the music. We just want you to find our little girl.

The I'm So Excited Pointer Sisters track must have really been omitted from the film after the theatrical releases, except for oddly enough the TV cuts.

I have the old full frame 1983 Laserdisc and it only features Little Boy Blue.

I have a feeling so many of is always watched the tv version so many times over the years that we never released home
Video never included the theatrical Pointer Sisters track.

The Current BLU u can hear I'm So Excited on the Deutsch and The Espanol - Latino Audio Tracks.

I can't be that bummed over it, can you imagine of we had these forums back in the LD days when the LD was released and many would have complained the songs were switched! :-)

Or some nostalgia the LD cover art. The bonus is the original Saul Bass WB logo opens the film.

Stop the Replacing of original Studio Opening / Closing logos! These are becoming endangered and should be kept intact. They are part of film history.

National Lampoon's Vacation is one of my all-time favorite comedies; I have fond memories of watching this on VHS tape back in the day. One of my favorite scenes is when the family is stranded near the desert, and Clark wanders off looking for a gas station?! with a towel on his head
[Show spoiler] - as he's wandering around delerious because of the heat, an American Indian stands a distance away & instead of being sympathetic, states matter-of-factly, "What an a$$^&%." - Hilarious

Here is my order of preference re: the movies:

National Lampoon's Vacation
Christmas Vacation
European Vacation
Vegas Vacation

The continuity between Vacation & European Vacation was fairly shaky; the actors playing the kids were completely different from one film to the other - understandable that this was in the later films (Christmas & Vegas) since they had to still be young enough to go on vacation with the parents, but there are only two years between the first two films...I guess AMH was busy with the John Hughes films (Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club) so couldn't be in the second Vacation film....

Vegas Vacation is unfairly maligned; though it's my least favorite of the movies, it's not a terrible film. I liked the scenes at the Hoover Damn, and it was also funny to see the cousin & his family again (R. Quaid)...

I remember reading Hall wanted to do Weird Science for Hughes instead. A better choice, if you ask me.

Same here. Been waiting for less than $10 since its release as it's the only Vacation film I am missing.
