They USED to, but then SciFi Channel dropped all the 80's reruns and changed their name.

Just ordered to series, NBC’s Believe comes from the impressive pairing of Abrams and filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Children of Men). Believe is about a young girl with special powers (Johnny Sequoyah) being protected by an escaped convict (Jack McLaughlin). Cuarón co-wrote and directed the pilot with Abrams serving as an executive producer.

Also picked up by NBC is the comedy About a Boy, based on the hit film. Jason Katims, who has already successfully adapted two other films for NBC (Friday Night Lights and Parenthood) is executive producing About a Boy.

NBC's other new picks ups (so far) are the new Sean Hayes comedy, Sean Waves the World and the Secret Service drama Crisis, starring Dermot Mulroney and The X-Files’ Gillian Anderson.

NBC have already given a straight-to-series order to Michael J. Fox's new comedy.

Update: NBC have now also given a series order to the comedy The Family Guide, starring Parker Posey, J.K. Simmons and Harold Perrineau. Simmons is currently appearing on ABC's Family Tools (he's on a Family kick) which is not expected to be renewed.

Warner already had it taken down. I'm guessing the trailer wasn't supposed to be put up yet since it's a midseason show. Otherwise you would think NBC would have put it up themselves like they did for other shows like The Blacklist.

I'll watch it cause it sounds cool and J.J. obviously has faith in it to produce it but it's always a hit or miss when he's not the one actually creating it. At least he's co-created Almost Human so will be surprised if that sucks :P
