Yes, that's true. I have edited my previous post to describe the opening and end logos on the UK disc.

In that case, the US disc should open with Universal's logo which, unless I'm mistaken, does run for longer than MGM's one.

EDIT: I'm not sure how long Uni's early 80s logo lasted, actually.

Anyway, if the horsefalls Kurtz confirmed on page 2 are there, then I'm sure it's uncut.

It has two featurettes ("Conan: The Making of a Comic Book Legend" and "Basil Poledouris: Composing the Conan Saga") as well as a trailer for the movie. There are no other audio tracks or extras.

Can someone who actually owns the Hong Kong, French or US discs check the exact running time, to determine whether the UK one is actually cut?
Just started watching mine but it's only DTS HD MA 2.0, even though the disc box states 5.1

PS The horse fall/punch at the start appears to be fully there as well as the camel punch.

Argh! Sorry, my mistake! Mine is also 2.0, not 5.1. I've edited my original post with the correct audio.

the US disk Is 1:41:10
and has the uni (mca) logo the logos fades to black with 1:40:54 with the movie starting with 1-2 seconds after that . there also 10 seconds of black screen after the credits have rolled

the US should be listed as 101 but it was rounded up to 102 in error

I realise that might rub some audiophiles the wrong way, but wouldn't a stereo track be a more faithful presentation?
