I've used the harmony 880 remote for a few year now, you can't go wrong... I've just upgraded to the Sony Xperia Tablet SGPT121CAS but still use the 880 as a secondary remote...

Can the Xperia tablet be set up the same as the Harmony's, or do you have to toggle between devices?

"yes" it sets up exactly the same as the harmony remote, plus the tablet has the "sweet" swipe to TV function, which is very cool... you can swipe anything from the tablet to the TV photos, videos, music and even a TV show from the TV guide on the tablet see link below

Although Logitech wants to sell off their remote control division, I couldn't pass up on a refurbished Logitech 1100 and so far it works amazing.

The new harmony touch remotes can change activity icons finally. I was gonna purchase the touch but I was either going with an ipad app or the 1100. Most people like the one handed remotes the most but I am different. I got used to my Sony commander so I prefer a tablet style remote.

I have 2 Harmony remotes. I have an 880 that I use upstairs, and a Harmony One that controls my home theater. The One is the nest universal remote I have owned. I have all my components in front of me, so I didn't need the RF function of the 900, so the One was a perfect choice for me. I purchased it from Logitech's website on a 50% special one day, so it was only $95 after shipping (non-refurbished model, a refurb would have only been about $70).
They teach it all wrong in schools, man. If they want the kids to be abstinent, they should make them get married. I'm a problem solver.

Great find and I was thinking of that remote but I wanted more of a tablet style. I almost went with Irule on Ipad but decided on the 1100. Both my screen and lights are RF though but I leave the remotes right beside me. I never buy refurbished items, only new but for a remote I decided to take a chance. Hope it doesn't bite me in the ***. Congrats and enjoy your remote.
