I like part 4 as well, the monks are hilarious, it's part 2 I'm not fond of.

Couldn't stand the film although Swank is pure eye candy in it.

I got the USA double pack & got Part 3 from Australia and so far i have been happy with that collection. I like 1 & 3 a little more than 2 but i do enjoy them all & i feel you gotta have them together to complete the collection. As someone else said i too have no interest in 4 or the reboot & would hate the idea of them taking up space on my shelves as they don't really belong with 1-3 as it is.
You got a good reputation. But if I was you, I'd have located in the next county.

Blu Ray Wish List : Judgement Night, Memoirs Of An Invisible Man (1992), Things To Do In Denver When Your Dead, Phantasm 1, 3 & 4, The Incredible Hulk (TV Series), House (1986), Jaws 2 & 3, School Ties, V (TV Series, 1980's) & any Hip Hop on Blu Ray.

I like it, but the actual climax/ending is just stupid. Still, I'd buy it if I could find it for a fair price.

Hilary Swanks bouncing boobies are the only good things about TNKK.

Refuse to see the remake.

Only just noticed III and IV are out in Europe. Bought the first two ages ago, definitely want to complete the collection. Pretty cheap on Amazon UK too.

I'm definitely in the LIKE the fourth one camp. I like them all, i don't particularly like II or III better than IV. OK i mean TNKK. I think it's a good movie, never understood the dislike. The true star of the movies is Mr Miyagi, not Daniel san! Daniel was pretty pathetic in the third movie to be honest, i dont think the fourth one loses anything.

The remake on the other hand i absolutely hate with a passion. I'm quite open to remakes, i'm one of the rare breed who actually likes the Psycho remake. But the karate kid one is dreadful. It's just a long boring kids movie with no connection to the karate kid movies apart from using the name for publicity purposes.

The remake is really, surprisingly good. Jackie Chan is excellent in it.

I agree... I thought it was a surprising well done film, and it's by far my favorite Jackie Chan role. The film isn't as memorable as the original, but as far as remakes go, I enjoyed it and don't regret purchasing it. On a side note, I just picked up the box set of the first 2 films yesterday new on ebay for 7.98 shipped, so I'm looking forward to their arrival.
Wanted To Buy:
-Sword in the Stone Slip Cover ($7 Shipped)
-Robin Hood (Disney) (Slip Cover) ($7 Shipped)
(Will Pay $15 Shipped if One Person can send Both Slip Covers)

Will Smith's son has one of the most punchable faces in the history of mankind...

I refuse to look at it for 2 hours.

All nepotism aside, Jaden Smith was perfectly fine and likable in Karate Kid. He's certainly no Jake Lloyd.

I love the 1st two films, can't stand the 3rd, and am pretty ambivalent about the 4th.
