Default The Family Stone

I've always thought this was a cute and funny movie, especially worth a watch around the holidays. I know others trash it but that's fine.

Anyone know if and when it may be slated for a BD release??

No news at the moment, but I agree with you, I watch it every year, just like Nothing for the Holidays (very similar).

It's crazy how much Blu-ray the studios released since the start of the new format, but on another way, it's also crazy to think about all those movies still not upgraded on Blu-ray!

I do not understand how this wonderful modern holiday classic (IMO, and it always shows up around the holidays in the top 100 on iTunes) has not received a Blu-ray release yet. Maybe they're waiting for the 10 year anniversary which will come next year. Was kind of wishing it would be sooner though. Like, this holiday season.

Anyway, this and Love Actually are my favorite Christmas movies. I have that on Blu-ray and would love to be able to add this to my collection.

And here we are, another Christmas coming with this STILL not being on Blu-ray. How did they not even bother releasing it for its 10th anniversary? It's considered a Christmas classic by quite a few.Movie grossed 60 Million at the Box Office. You'd think it was a bomb with it not having a Blu-ray yet. So d*mn frustrating and baffling.

Saw this movie in theaters, I was 6. Don't know why my aunt thought me and my sister would enjoy the film at our age, but we did. Years later I caught the film on TV and then purchased the DVD and now it's a family tradition. One of my favorite if not my favorite Christmas films. I would buy the hell out of a Blu-ray copy!

Ive seen the DVD of Family Stone mixed in with the usual other cheap DVDs for either 2.95 or 4.95. DVD has some nice bonus features to watch.

Dunno if the blue ray version even has bonus features or not

One of my favorite holiday movies.

I own the DVD and used the VUDU - Disc to Digital to get the HDX version.

I'll get the blu-ray whenever it gets released.

Definitely agree that The Family Stone is a great Christmas film, with an excellent cast. This should definitely be on anyone's "top 20" list of best Christmas films.

I remember seeing this in the theater back in late '05. Both funny and sad, this really illustrates & emphasizes how important family is - and not just during the holidays.

I would also get this on Blu, if it ever becomes available that way.
