I like this movie, it's not great but it has a great cast. I'm interested to see how this looks, I believe it will be the 1st time on dvd. Do you know which ending it will have as the original vhs release had a more downbeat ending to the recent version on Netflix.
Wanted On Blu: The Crowd (28), I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang (32), The Mortal Storm (40), Hellzapoppin' (41), Mr Bug Goes To Town (41), Un Temoin Dans La Ville (59), A Prize Of Arms (62), The Last Of Sheila (73), Dersu Uzala (75), Illustrious Corpses (76), The Late Show (77), Foul Play (78), American Hot Wax (78), Krabat - The Sorcerer's Apprentice (78), I As In Icarus (79), The Lonely Guy (84), After Hours (85), Confessions Of A Serial Killer (85), Nobody's Fool (94), Best Of Youth (03).

Thanks for the heads-up! Any Oates news makes for an exciting day. Would have thought this would have gone to Shout as part of their recent ITV acquisitions but Scorpion is good news. Full versions with both endings would be fantastic as they are both out there.

Hi Gerby,

From what I gather at the moment, mostly from forum posts, it appears that both are planned. We will have to wait and see what comes out.

Recently re-watched 92 in the Shade on DVD. Decent film from the '70's, with an excellent cast, including Peter Fonda, Warren Oates, Margot Kidder, Burgess Meredith, etc. Now that it's getting warmer, this is an appropriate time to watch a film that takes place during the heat of a Florida summer.

RIP Margot Kidder.

Being a big fan of Sylvia Miles (probably best known for her role as Cass in 1969's Midnight Cowboy), it was cool to see her in this film - playing Burgess Meredith's girlfriend/secretary. Though she's been in a good # of films, her roles are usually not that large - and, she seemed to primarily be in films from the late 1960's - 1980's (The Sentinel, Wall Street, etc.)
