You can't really go wrong with Arrow if you stick to the classics. Slaughter High probably isn't one of them! Don't let Slaughter High put you off.

Bought:

CSI NY s3 part1 - 5.25
CSI NY s4 part1 - 3.50
Pushing Tin/Broadcast News/Mr Holland's Opus - 3.25

I got the s4 part at Amazon (zovertocks) and the other 2 via CeX online. The delivery there is 2.50 but in this case both were cheaper than elsewhere, even taking that into account. Those 2 CSI parts now make my CSI NY collection complete up to season 5.

Well I'll definitely use CeX online again, the two from there only took 2 days. The zoverstocks order hasn't even dispatched yet...
But I did get Buffy s3 from zoverstocks today, so I now have the complete s2-7 collection of Buffy "bible" sets. I may just have to track down the Angel ones too

You could state that about numerous covers where the movie has been great but the artwork awful & vice-versa?? But I won't let it put me off, as I know there are other greats out there & as you say, it's probably not a classic!

I have recorded 'Pieces' from the Horror channel on my SKY box, which has an Arrow release on dvd, so i'll see what it's like first. There are some titles that i've seen in the past that I will eventually purchase but it's the titles that I haven't seen before, that are letting me down!

I can see at the time maybe the special effects were good & the various deaths are imaginative but I laughed at most of them. The acting was truly awful & put me off the whole thing! If a remake was made with decent actors, I could see the potential but no....don't waste your time!

Going to trade at
[Show spoiler]CEX
for 5!

I hope this isn't what most Arrow releases are like? Only picked it up, as I was going to start collecting Arrow DVDs & Blu Rays & it was only 3 anyway!
Lol, isn't the acting in most 80's Slasher Horrors awful

That's why we love em

This: because it is never going to appear on BD unless hell freezes over or a miracle happens.

Samsung 3D F6800 40". PS4 Pro. AMD 8370/RX480 8 Gig gaming rig. Launch PS4 as BD player.

I have been meaning to get that Star Trek DVD for years! Apparently the special effects were redone in standard definition so it will most likely never make it to Blu Ray :-(

I just went region-free so I finally picked up a few UK releases I have wanted for a while...

And with that, you've just answered a question that I was going to ask about the blu-ray, whether it had the directors edition and all the bonus features from the DVD.

Now that I know for certain that the blu-ray is the theatrical cut, then I won't be upgrading from this 1-10 set of the movies on DVD.

Just wish I could get ahold of the newest bonus features from the blu-ray sets only now...

Maybe after all the hard work they've done with TNG they can go back and look at the original series movies. I'm curious about TMP though as I would have thought they might have given (or planned to) the directors cut a theatrical run so to do the new effects in SD seems short-sighted!

Yes indeed but those covers at least have cleavage in them and not some tit in a harlequin hat....

I still enjoy this movie & it has it's moments.

Bought:

Noticed it in ASDA for 11.97 so nabbed it for the kids. Each movie has it's own DVD Case exactly like the individual releases, within an embossed metal lunchbox style tin.

That's a great price, especially with the addition of the embossed metal box aswell
