i have never noticed this thread and uptill now only ever watched the uk 2D/3D version so never knew there was a huge difference on the different regions well at least as far as this release goes.

i went on amazon.fr and ordered the french steel as the price has just dropped.
work out around 15-16inc del to uk

so if this French Release is currently the best 2D same as the JP release should i get the USA version for 3D or stick to the French steel for it?

sound is not really a major factor as i am only using 3.1 not even 5.1...

If you are looking for the best 2D presentation, the French and Japanese releases are the way to go.

In terms of 3D, you are best going for the US release as you also get the great audio, which the FR release lacks, but I do not know how the 3D French release looks.

If you want the best 2D and audio presentation, the Japanese release is the one to get.
