What is this top ranked reviewer and top contributor?

Also, once you submit entries into the database, those entries have to be approved by a moderator or site admin. (Usually takes place in 1-2 days after submission). Once those are approved, your credit will be given.

You can check by viewing your own Community Profile Page. For example, check out mine here. You can see that under My Profile, it lists that I am a Top Contributor, and also has the number of submissions I have entered in to the database (4,276). I am not sure how many it takes to become a Top Contributor, but I don't think it is very many.

Just curious, mine says: 138 successful submissions
Does that mean I've added 138 movies or something to the database? Because I do not believe that lol.

138 submissions means that you entered 138 total pieces of data into the system.

When you submit a single movie, you can earn roughly 30-40 submission points per film as you would get a point for the title, point for the year, point for the genre, point for the length of the film, point for the studio, point for the video codec, point for the audio, point for subtitles, etc, etc. The database treats each of those unique pieces of data/information as a unique submission.

Same here, had the star for a few hours about 2 weeks ago and then it disappeared, now just says contributor on my profile.
