Choke Blu Ray

As some of you know, Choke is currently a DVD only release. It was one of my favorite films last year and I was rather disappointed that there weren't a Blu Ray release. Are anyone else hoping for a Blu release? Or would it never see the light of day? I might just go buy the movie on DVD.

I bought it on DVD. It didn't make much at the box office, so I didn't have real high hopes for a Blu-ray release. As a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan, I would happily double dip if released on Blu-ray.

thats the only reason we never purchased it was because it was dvd only, but then again we ordered Taken on dvd from the uk so i guess we might have to pick that sh!t up now .

I've been waiting on a blu release for this as well. I am dissappointed every time they choose not to release a movie on bluray.

With the success of the Avengers and Iron Man 2, I'm surprised they haven't released this on blu already.

Not sure I see the tie in between those films and Choke.

Sam Rockwell? Maybe?

Regardless, the film has been released on Blu-Ray in Germany.

Choke (German)

It is most likely Region B locked though.

Hopefully we'll see a North American release sometime soon.

Sam Rockwell, yes, but mostly Clark Gregg.

I did see it was released in Germany, but the Region B lock is a major drawback. I use AnyDVD HD (legally, mind you) for taking screenshots and such, but I've no clue if I'd be able to watch Region B blu on a Region A drive with it.

Just re-watched this last night. Although the flash back bits are a bit cheesey, I found it highly enjoyable a second time around, as I was not as huge of a Rockwell fan as I am now. Soon as it was over I rushed to the site hoping it was released under the radar, but no I was wrong.

Sam Rockwell fans of the world unite, we want "Choke" on blu-ray. Chuck did a commentary for "Fight Club" I believe, I'd love to hear him and Rockwell going over the film.

Well, I don't know what software you use to watch the movies (to may knowledge AnyDVD HD doesn't play them), but if you use PowerDVD or TotalMedia Theatre, this should work: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=149191 (if there are legal issues, I apologize i advance, but I don't see that being the case).
