Personally, I waited because there were other titles higher on my list of things to get. I wavered a few times on getting it, yet I never did. But since it went OOP, it quickly went to the top of the list.

Do you buy every single movie you're interested in on any level on release day every single week?

If so, I want your job.

No I only buy a select few on release day, but we aren't talking about release day here. This movie has been out for over a year now so I really don't know what you are getting at.
Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub.

That maybe people had higher priorities for the year? Or maybe they forgot about it? Or they lost their job last year? Or maybe they lived in Europe for a year and didn't buy anything? You have no idea about other peoples' situations.

Do I really need a lecture? I asked a simple question. People complaining they couldn't find slip covers when they were available with slip covers for months.
Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub.

I was answering your question: "why did you guys wait so long to get it?"

Sorry you didn't like the answer.

Hmm if I really like a movie and want a slip cover I don't wait over a year to get it.

I never saw it brick & mortar with slip, & never risk ordering something thru mail if I want a slip.

I received a notice from Amazon that my shipment that was originally scheduled for today wouldn't arrive for another 63 days. That tells me they won't be getting any more in stock. I placed an order with GoHastings.com for $25.92 with shipping.

Finally got my order from GoHastings. No slipcase, but I don't care about those anyway.

The resale value of these have gone up since Shout announced it was OOP. Before, they'd consistently go for under $20, now most sell for around $25, with some going as high as $50

It was still $20-25 for weeks after the announcement. Hopefully fans had time to grab them for normal price. Though personally I don't see the change as a big loss anyway.
