Yeah, it's their Halloween sale, I believe. I picked this up at Movie Stop on the day of release for the same price, since that was the new release sale price.

Thought I was the only one who had any love for this film. I love this thread

Anyone knows why Jamie Lee Curtis dislikes this movie so much? It's my favorite slasher w her after Halloween/Halloween II

Weird how the page for this on the site says there's a slipcover in the original pressing, but there isn't.

There are many actors and actresses, who do not always like all the movies they have made, due to their own personal reasons.

If I recall, I think she felt typecast after her success with horror films, so that's probably why she doesn't look on this film, or the other horror films, with the fondest of memories. After all, the next film people really remember her for, after Halloween (1978), and for some, Trading Places (1983), is A Fish Called Wanda, which was in 1988. Clearly, Halloween is excepted, since it was her breakthrough, and has become a classic.
"You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment."

Yes, but I read that among all the horror movies she made, this one is her least favorite. Terror Train and well, Halloween II were also repetitions of Halloween.
Anyone here read that book that covers Jamie's career during her time in the slasher genre? Maybe there's some enlightenment there

I don't recall her being too spiteful towards it in that career overview interview she has on the bluray of "The Fog," she just says it isn't good, which it isn't!
