Hello, first post but have been lurking on this site awhile now. Ive been trying to find a copy of the Second Season with the House Baratheon sigil slipcover. I think it was a Big W exclusive. Looking for one in basically mint/sealed condition. If anyone has one there willing to let go of let me know.

Anyone else notice the difference in the sound mix of the opening theme in Season 1 compared to the rest of the reasons? What's up with that?

It's constantly remixed, because it's not always exactly the same length, depending on the visuals/locations shown. I believe that's what they discuss on the new set.
If you have to whip out a microscope to decide if you like a Blu-ray or not, you are missing the point.

Season 1 blu-ray is inferior in almost every way.

Doesn't look as good, doesn't sound as good.

Oh snap.... I didn't even notice that they were different lengths.

Question for those who bought the Collectors Pack of Seasons 1 & 2 together does the digital code included have seperate codes for them or is it one code for both seasons?

Separate, each code is in the case for that season.

What's the deal with the release of season 1 that's $20 right now? Looks it's actually a standard BD case instead of the digipak shit. Can we expect to see the rest of the seasons re-issued this way? I'm almost tempted to repurchase season one.

Escape From New York Scream Factory
It improves upon the A/V quality of the previous MGM Blu-ray, preserves the best of the 2003 DVD extras, and adds great new material too. Donít miss it!

I rebought Season 1 in this new format to encourage HBO to release the other seasons like this. Can't stand the prior releases in those gigantic digipacks. Not a bad deal - I even sold the UV code inside for $10.

I was thinking of picking up GOT season 2 on blu-ray -- the older combo pack with DVD/BD/DC. However, it appears that the digital copy is now expired.

Has anyone had luck with redeeming expired GOT digital copies -- any season? If so, what system did you use? (Itunes/Vudu/flixster/etc.)

Thanks.

Check the validity at hbodigitalhd.com. The code might still work.

Yeah, unfortunately, the site doesn't have any information. I just wanted to find out before I purchased the combo pack.

Maybe another forum member will be able to chime in with more info.

Thanks.
