Almost everyone among movie buffs and TPB fans tends to address Westley as "The Dread Pirate Roberts", but that's just the fictional persona he adopted on the ship and the one he is most known for. In the universe of TPB, nobody knows how the Dread Pirate Roberts is supposed to look or act. It's part of his mystique.
When he went to rescue Buttercup, Westley assumed the totally different persona of "The Man in Black", a masked adventurer whose reasons and purposes are largely unknown. That's a second persona and NOT supposed to be the Dread Pirate Roberts. This means that if Inigo becomes the new Dread Pirate Roberts as hinted at the end, Westley can don the Man in Black mantle one more time and fight along with his old comrade in new adventures. |

If you absolutely love this film, yes. But everything else on the disc (including the disc menu) is identical to the previous release. Basically it comes down to whether or not you think two 15 minute retrospective documentaries and beautiful new cover-art are worth $10-$15.

I didn't think so once I saw the documentary. If they'd included those unused takes and alternate ending in more than just brief snippets(ala the Eric Stoltz footage from the BTTF Blu-rays), I might feel differently. That was a missed opportunity.
