Amazon has reinstated the faulty release and suddenly there's a small flurry of very suspect 5 star reviews.

Curiously some reviews are written in the tone of adolescent fans, yet they also specifically address the defects and tell customers to ignore the bad reviews. Unless child fans are suddenly acting as product lobbyists, something doesn't seem right here...

Worst looking/sounding blu ray I've seen in a long time.

I'm disappointed that blu-ray.com hasn't come back to amend their review for the inflated scores and factual mistakes.

The reviewer skewers it in the verbiage, but then hands out generously high numbers. The audio is defective, the video is primitive, and you can't even navigate it properly. By any objective assessment, it's defective.

You hand in a blank term paper you shouldn't get 40% for it. This release is a mess, and I wish they would score it as such.

Unacceptable if you ask me. An MPEG-2 release in 2013 is bad enough but 5.1 Dolby digital? Mind boggling.

Rihanna is strictly a Illuminati recruited member, and I will not listen to, support nor buy anything that she involved in.

To bad I saw her in Vancouver on the Rated R tour I have her Girl Gone Bad Tour Blu-ray but that had DTS MA 5.1 and PCM 2.0 plus it had either VC-1 or AVC codec for video but there is no way I am getting this on Blu-ray.

Hi,

I bought this bluray for my sister this last Tuesday and as I was checking the specs for the video and audio on my bluray player, it showed that the video is encoded with the AVC codec and the audio although a lossless audio track is still missing, the DD 5.1 in this release it's not at 224 kbps but at 640 kbps, here's a pic:

Also the DD 2.0 is also at 640 kbps.

Looks like there's a remaster.

Is the audio still hollow? I think the mixing is at fault. 640 kbps isn't very good but it will do.

I have only watch bits of the concert, so I can't say if the audio is still hollow, plus I haven't heard the other audio(the one at 224 kbps), right now my sis has the bluray, but as soon as she finish watching it, I'll borrow it and check this for you, but I have to said that I'm not an audio expert, so do not expect a very professional review hehe

I have a question about this, the 640 kbps it's the maximum bitrate for a standard DD track right?
