Apparently so, well, i guess if you have surround sound. not sure if it happens through tv speakers. There have also been reports of issues with the Total Recall remake, Brave and Finding Nemo, though I never experienced audio issues with Nemo and Brave, they were very present in Monsters.

I just have tv speakers so i see how that does i do have nemo but yet to watch it as i seen in theaters when it re-released hope there no issues for the price it cost

There are no audio dropouts with the Dolby 2.0 track as the problem is with TrueHD.

My BD skips at 1:46 to 2:47. don't know about the rest of the disc yet, havent watched it all the way thru. Anyone else?

There's also the core Dolby 5.1 surround track. I haven't watched my copy yet, but I suppose that would also be free of issues?

Unlike the 2.0 track, I did not check it, so I don't know for sure, but I assume it would not have any dropouts either. Fire it up and find out.

I just popped this in since i bought it and im having audio dropouts.I know what to do like Total recall,but why is it doing it and is there another way to fix it.Do i need to update my player or exchange it for a new one?

There is something wrong with the way TrueHD is being implemented now. Just switch your player to output it as LPCM and hope it's fixed at some point down the road.

I have a question about the movie cash, do I have to be present when using it? This is the first time I've gotten movie cash, so I don't know what to expect. I'm going to give it to my sister & I'm wondering if she'll have a problem using it since my name is on it. I could put her name on it in Illustrator.....

I've never had a theatre check my ID against the name on the coupon. HOWEVER, I've also never tried to give them a coupon with a name on it that was obviously that of a member of the opposite sex.

That's why I'm thinking about putting her name on it, but that will have me wondering if the coupon is linked to my DMR account. I would go, but I don't like going to the theater. lol

There won't be any problems with putting someone else's name on it. I've done it several times. The coupon is initially accessed through your account, but when you go to print it out, you can choose the name that's placed on it. After it's been printed, it's not tied to your account in any way that impacts the ability for someone else to use it.

And I have had a theater ask for my ID once to check the name, but it was only one time (out of many, many times I've used them).

What is all this fuss over the TrueHD playback, anyway? If it plays flawlessly with the setting on LPCM, set the playback settings to LPCM instead of bitstream. If you are having problems playing with it playing in bitstream, maybe there's a problem with your receiver. The only reason I can think of that you would want to play it on bitstream is if you have a much higher-end receiver than you do a player. I've listened to the TrueHD tracks on Finding Nemo, Brave, and Total Recall (2012) set on LPCM and they all play back flawlessly, with no dropouts whatsoever. I think I tried bitstream on all three movies, and could not hear a difference, except maybe a little louder, but I could just turn the volume up a little on LPCM and get the same end result. So, unless you like peace of mind knowing your receiver can play TrueHD back, you want the gratification of spending >$3000 on a higher-end receiver that might playback slighlty louder on bitstream than on LPCM, here's a thought: Why don't you just switch it to LPCM?! Okay, rant over...

Is it possible to do that before printing the coupon though? I don't ever remember seeing the option to use any other name than that which is on my actual account. But, I haven't used many myself. If so, that is Drewbee87's solution right there. HOWEVER, I do fear that Drewbee87 is thinking of doing something a lot more devious. If you read their post, which is quoted below, they are talking about using a computer graphics editor program to manipulate the image before printing out the final coupon.
