<~ Has one of the RARE recalled / uncut Swamp Thing DVD's.

I actually preferred the uncut version and if or when that comes out on BD, then I'll buy. Until then, no sale.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not bashing Scream or anything like that. I absolutely loved the restoration they did for Lifeforce, but I don't want or need the "edited" version of ST.
The Wolf of Wall Street - UV/ITunes - $3.00
Evil Dead (Remake) UV - $2.00

All DC's are from US Blu-rays only. First PM gets them.

It's not really edited when that is what came out in America.

To each his own, I guess. But I really don't get this. The difference is really just a trivial scene with henchmen/dancers. And it really doesn't seem to fit the tone of the rest of the movie.

The omission of that scene (which was never shown or intended to be shown in the US) makes all the difference to you? Because MGM put it out once accidentally on DVD?

Again, your call. But I don't get it. I'll keep my DVD as a curiosity, but I'm all over this BD.

I have the DVD with the added footage and since this does not have the extra footage I am passing on this.

Would have loved to own this but not being the uncut version seems kind of pointless. Once you watch uncut versions of films you really don't go back to less film.

Got my Blu-ray copy of Swamp Thing today and noticed a quote on the back cover for a "Robert Ebert." Is this another typo, or did Roger have a lesser-known film critic brother named Robert?

In her interview on the disc, Adrienne Barbeau seems to recall that her original contract did not allow for nudity in the domestic release and that was the reason that version had to be pulled. She also says it wasn't a big deal for her.

I noticed that too - it seems like almost every release has some sort of typo or error on the packaging. I'm guessing in this case whoever did the write-up had Robert Englund on the brain, what with NOES being mentioned a few words later.

Could this be why it's unavailable for order from amazon right now?

Agreed. Having just finished the Wes Craven commentary and the interviews with AB and Reggie Batts, and half way through the Len Wein interview, I'd say we're talking more a 4/5 rather than 2/5. Both Barbeau and Batts provide good info and are quite charming.
All BDs should "resume"

Correct. It's not considered a Collector's Edition so no slip.
