Depending on your tolerance and familiarity with the horror genre it could range from Terrifying to just creepy. Simply stated, yes it's scary... how scary depends on your age and tolerance for the material.

Yeah, this movie is kind of scary/creepy. I actually enjoyed it and I'm not big on reboots or remakes. This is a good remake IMO, but I absolutely love the original!!!! Give it a watch though. Give both original and remake a watch. If you love horror, you'll be glad you did.

It's too bad we won't get a sequel to this, I really liked Jane Levi in this film and was looking forward to her arc going forward.

I know they took place in separate universes but maybe she could cameo in the Starz series. Like a portal opens and Ash meets Mia and has to deal with the more serious deadites in a episode.
