That's an excellent price. I jumped on it several weeks ago for $14 after it had been closer to $30 for a long time.

Thanks for posting this link. I had not seen this. It doesn't look to be any different from the Happinet blu-ray, so I'm going to pass on it.

Don't know about empty cases, but I've only seen black viva cases for the comic-con Fox titles and I've also seen those in blue cases. The only 2-disc green cases I know of are the animated versions of the Grinch and Green Lantern.

Can't believe the Happinet release is so cheap now! I must have paid at least twice that back when I got it. Worth it then and definitely worth it now. This release is very highly recommended and a no-brainer at this price.

I ordered it a little while back when it was first on sale and I am so glad I did, the transfer is nice.

Can anyone who owns the German Mediabook tell me if the audio goes out of sync when all the group are watching the news on the TV?

Japanese Happinet release
Every man's heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper than something that is larger than life, then his essence, his spirit will be immortalized.

What is missing from the forgotten film version? What is the proper run time for the fixed copy? Never heard of this issue til today. Any help would be awesome and greatly appreciated. I like this movie but lack the knowledge of all the differences.

Apparently there are two versions of the Forgotten Films version. The initial run (the version I own) is essentially the same as the Happinet blu-ray, however it's missing a couple of scenes (one of them being Barbara saying "It's hot in here. Hot."). I've heard that they corrected this, thus it's the same as the Happinet blu-ray now.

Very interesting. I tested my German digibook at that point and there is a slight audio delay. I then tested the Network blu-ray, which has a similar (if not identical) transfer. It does not have the delay. Finally, I tested the Optimum blu-ray (same transfer as the Happinet), and there was no delay there either. Good catch Benson85.

Thanks! I'll watch it tomorrow to see which one I have.

No problem. Please let us know if that scene is there. I am not certain as to whether or not Forgotten Films released a corrected blu-ray.
