i finally had the time to watch Chicken Little. On the LG 55LW5600 passive 3D TV I did not see a single instance of ghosting. The reviews said ghosting is everywhere. Well, the reviewers must have used an active shutter system. On the LG passive screen, Chick Lit was eye-candy! What a beautiful movie! The 3D was crystal clear.

Okay, as an adult, I was expecting a total kiddie schlochfest. SURPRISE! Chicken Little was a ton of fun! I loved the characters and the story was fun!

In my opinion, Chicken Little is very under rated. Pop-out effects were limited, but the PQ is colorful and richly detailed. It is a 3D movie that I will happily enjoy again.

Totally agree! Once again I disagree pretty much 100% with the reviewer on this site. Out of the 4 releases CL was not only the most enjoyable film, but it also had the best 3D apart from Bolt which has been out in the UK already. The picture quality was absolutely fantastic as well! Bright, sharp, extremely colourful and not a single instance of ghosting. I think the site reviewer needs to check his equipment!

apologies if its already been covered, but is the Canadian version of Bolt also region free?
I know the US version is but I'm wanting to order a CA steelbook and it works out cheaper to get the CA version of Bolt in the same order that get the US version from amazon.com or one of the UK based import sites.

thanks

I Know they are both Disney but I just wanted to confirm the Canadian version is exactly the same as the US one (I'm not talking about the bilingual one either).
I had problems with other movies that were region free in US but the CA version was region A only despite being same company/distributors and I dont fancy forking out twice again ya know?

TBH I could do with knowing if all bar G-Force are the same (CA region free I mean)

yea but those were different studios, like Alliance in Canada and WB/Universal in USA. Of course you can wait for someone else to answer

Guys, I need some help. I'm planning on getting Robinsons and Chicken Little in bluray. The price for the standard edition is $14 less than the 3D edition. Is the 3D good enough to justify this $14 bucks? Or should I stick to the 2D versions? Tks!

I picked up Chicken Little (double dipped) and Meet the Robinsons since they were less then $25 Canadian. I have seen both but not in 3D. Here's hoping that I'll enjoy it.

I picked up MTR recently. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I don't think it's a knock your socks off with things coming out of the screen kind of 3D. Very good depth and nice sense of volume though. Fun story too.

Just watched this and also enjoyed it quite a bit. Loved going back and watching the beginning again after seeing how everything tied together at the end. Not bad 3D at all for an older catalog title. Also watched Bolt and loved the 3D especially during the scenes of the show within a show aspect.

Haven't seen Chicken Little in 3D but Meet the Robinson's looks great in both 2D and 3D. My JVC projector does show a bit of ghosting at times but not much was seen the Meet the Robinsons and it looks great in 3D IMO.

Just picked up 'Meet the Robinsons' from Amazon a few days ago, still came with the 3D slip. Have yet to watch it in 3D, but it looked great in 2D!
