I think you are right on the money. They've been using that Statue/ Head gimmick a lot lately for special packaging.

No rumblings, and Phase 2 still has Season 2 of Agents of SHIELD, Age of Ultron and Ant-Man before it is finished.

For a long time, Ant-Man was going to be, even though it would be Phase 3, part of Phase One, in fact, it would have taken place before Iron Man 1!

But the longer Wright kept not doing it, the more the script had to change and it kept getting moved in the time-line.

Until Wright left cause he kept procrastinating, so now, it is an epilogue to Phase 2. Unless SHIELD still has an episode or two after Age of Ultron.

Came across this a few minutes ago, which I thought was hilarious. It's a mockup comic cover featuring an event that never happened:

I wonder if a Phase 2 collection will actually feature the likes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Seasons 1 & 2), Agent Carter and Daredevil alongside Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man.

Thor: The Dark World
Cap: The Winter Soldier
Agents of SHIED (season 2)
Guardians of the Galaxy

This will be a HUGE Expensive set if they include everything!

I'd be inclined to say no to AoS S1/S2 and Daredevil being included, and definitely not Agent Carter as it has more to do with Phase1. That would leave just the 6 films and another bonus disc, which would be similar to the Phase1 set.
Then again who knows what these studios feel like churning out on any given day.
I'm happy either way. I'm thinking we might get a Phase 2 BD set annoucement sometime in July(SDCC)??

I doubt it. The set will likely be limited to the movies.

Has anyone OFFICIALLY said Ant-man is still Phase 2? I think each 'phase' culminates in an Avengers film, making Ant-man the kickoff to Phase 3.

Here's what Kevin Feige had to say, when I asked how many movies Phase Three would consist of.

"I don't say we set out to have any particular number. Phase One was six films.Phase Two, for those following along you'll realize that Ant-Man truly is the end of Phase Two, and Civil War truly is the beginning of Phase Three. So that leaves us with six films in Phase Two, and it is nine films in Phase Three. One of the reasons is one of the films is being split into two parts, Infinity War, and, because, frankly, the success that we've had, which is beyond our wildest dreams. I mentioned before, 10 films, over $7 billion, it is amazing. It gave us confidence, and, frankly, the studio is firing on all cylinders right now. We have the absolute best team in Hollywood, in front of the camera, behind the camera, working on these movies, which made us comfortable for the first time, as you see in 2017 and 2018, that we had the ability to increase it to three films a year, instead of just two, without changing our methods at all."
