Default Macgo Blu-ray Player freezes sometimes during playback

I am using a Mac with OS X 10.8 and Macgo Blu-ray Player, but playback freezes sometimes for a second or so.

What is the problem? Solution? A bug?

I use the Mac OS X 10.7.4, the player just work fine.
Not sure about your problem, is all your Blu-ray disc encountered with that problem? You may ask the Macgo official support for help.

make sure you have the latest version. It gets always updated to work with the latest BDs. you can also try DVDfab blu ray player for Mac. there is a free version of it as well and it works as good.

Default I've got a problem too.......

I have iMac/Mountain Lion and have an issue too. Prometheus plays but I'm getting clutter on the screen (like satellite in bad weather). I've contacted MacGo but other than stating have I got the latest version (which I have) they have ignored my support requests.

Cyberlink users have reported a problem with this blu-ray and are actively investigating.

Oh!........I don't have this problem with other blu ray discs.

You should upgrade your software to the latest version. It upgrades every week.

The issue is not with your player software. The issue is with the disc itself. I experienced the same macro blocking you've described as have many others that have purchased this title. As further evidence of this see the below taken from The Digital Bits website.

Throughout the second half of the film, some copies are plagued with macro-blocking and will occasionally cause players to simply shut down. It appears to be a manufacturing error and isn’t affecting all copies, so if you’re having trouble we recommend you exchange it with your retailer. You can also contact Fox Customer Care at 1-888-223-4369.

That was informative. Are you a human? or did a computer just copy one of the previous posts?
