The sad truth.

The plus side is that 3D is continuing to evolve. I was worried that with the backlash it's been getting from movie-goers that companies would give up on pushing any technology further with it.

Now see this is what I was waiting for As a consumer that wears glasses the current setup just does not do it for me, but sadly whats the price point on this. Its great that sony is advertising and doing this but not putting the MSRP down sucks.

To quote Wintson Wolfe "Well let's not start sucking each others d*cks quite yet"

Let's be honest here, it's 24 inch monitor, which hasn't had the greatest of reviews in regards to 3d performance so far.

Also, glasses-free tech, I believe, cuts resolution in fourths. So, you would actually have 1/4 of 1080p in glasses-free 3D mode. Do not quote me on it, but I believe that is why the Toshiba glasses free model is 4x HD.

http://asia.cnet.com/toshiba-finally...a-62214741.htm

In this article he states that the TV in 2D is 4K, but with the 3D it is only 720.

So, on a 1080p TV/Screen it would be even less than that.

There are more articles, but I do not have much time to search right now. I will look for more later.
