What people fail to recognize because they wan't so badly for us to be out it, understandably so, is that neither are we. TD is playing better, Tiago is a much bigger factor and we've infused young blood on the wings in Kawhi and Danny. Not to mention Manu is playing with a non-fractured arm. Their only advantage is in the middle and I honestly don't think it's that big of an advantage.

People are just tired of us. I can't blame them, we've been near the top for a while and they wanted to see the W's in these CF's. That being said, this isn't going to be nearly as Grizz-dominated as people want it to be. GO SPURS GO!!!

Yeah I admit I underrated the Spurs, I now even have them beating the Grizz in 7 games even though I think this series can go either way. But let's be honest now nobody is beating the Heat in a 7 game series. I don't give two shits how the Pacers played them in the regular season they are going to lose in 5 games to the Heat, and if the Spurs get to the finals their mark of perfect 4-0 in the Finals will come to an end and I am sure LeBron would like some payback to the Spurs for 2007. I am a Lakers fan and I don't like the Heat but you have to be fool to not see how this going to end.

This is terrible scheduling!

By the time Game 1 between the Pacers and Heat begin (Wed), the Grizzlies and Spurs would've finished 2 games in their series. Yet, in order to balance out the schedules, the Grizzlies / Spurs game 3 won't be played until Saturday, or 4 FULL days after game 2 is played. WTF?!

I got into this team when they were the Hornets in '91 so i'm currently a Pelicans fan. Do i get dibs for both teams? Just because the Bobcats changed their name to the Hornets doesn't mean they have any connection to those Hornets teams from the 90's. The original Hornets franchise IS the New Orleans Pelicans. It's a similar case in the NFL. We all know the original Cleveland Browns are the Baltimore Ravens.

So the kings saved their team from Seattle. At the beginning of the season the hornets were owned by the nba. Why didn't stern let Seattle buy them?that would have solved a few problems.

The Mavs had no shot to beat the Heat 2 years ago either.

Dwayne Wade being hurt is the great equalizer. Before he got hurt I totally agreed with you. Now, I think the Heat are beatable in a way they weren't all year.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Why the heck do we have to wait until Wednesday to start the ECF? I mean if there was a game seven on Monday, then I'd obviously understand, but this way, I don't. Plus, I have a feeling that we'll be pretty rusty again in the first game, since we'll be off for nearly a week by then.

The same for both the Grizzlies and Spurs after their game 2 and before game 3... I mean, at this stage of the season and you suddenly get a 4-day rest?! It would most likely mess up whatever rhythm they might have by the end of game 2, I think. Ok, some might argue the older players (TD, Manu) might need more rest, but you don't get this far into the season for a few more days of rest.

I agree. If you make it this far, then you're most likely running on adrenaline. Forget about nagging injuries, you have to play through them.

This was the play of the game yesterday. It literally changed the momentum late in the game, as Indiana went on a 9-0 run right after it to seal the win.

We're going to need to figure out how to get some points inside more consistently. We're not going to shoot like crazy the way we did today and they're going to start hitting some shots as well. Z-Bo is going to have a huge breakout game within the next two at some point. But I did like our ball movement.

Y'all shot the lights out; and with all due respect I don't think they can do it again more than once the rest of this series. Plus, I believe the Grizzlies will figure something out to get Z-Bo the ball, and I think they will go away from posting him down low to initiate the offense. Look for them doing some sort of hi-lo between Z-Bo and Gasol with Z-Bo to start things off at the top of the key.

Y'all did few things really well tonight by always having a roll man on Z-Bo, with or without the ball (hell, you got away with illegal D at least 2-3 times in the process ); and you found ways to control the board. And you also forced enough TOs too. That said, maybe it looked more obvious on tv than live at the arena, I thought the top of the key or near the elbow area was pretty open most of the night; yet the Grizzlies never really go for those mid-range shots. Everything was either forced inside or from way out.

In their defense, they're not really a jump shooting team. And come to think of it, their only capable shooter from that distance is Gasol, maybe Z-Bo. But they need to be down low to get that O started. Yeah, we're not going to shoot like that every game, but I don't see a happy ending for the Grizz. Also, their big 3 didn't play spectacularly...neither did ours.
